The Whitest Boy Alive are touring again. Rumours go round of a new album being released this year. The guys are touring Australia as we speak and will tour Germany in May. Check the official website for details.

Kings of Convenience are playing the Dutch, sold-out festival Into The Great Wide Open. The Whitest Boy Alive played the same festival last year, which was a great success. The festival takes place on an island in the North-West of The Netherlands.

The Whitest Boy Alive are working on a new album, according to Erlend in an interview Rolling Stone Mexico. More details in the forum here:
"I just was in Berlin for two weeks and we were doing a lot of demos. We're still working on the songs, but I hope that when we go to Mexico, we already have some songs we can play live. The guys are excited; I think they still have many surprises under their sleeves. I love the things we have done so far, the musical decisions and mashups of the drums we have done."

A new Whitest Boy Alive song, Island, is currently up on Myspace. The song has been played in the live shows last year and in fact has been played by Erlend on his DJ sets with band back in 2003 (as Fall). Now the song gets a proper album release.

The new Whitest Boy Alive album is called Rules and will be released late February 2009. It is the follow up to their debut Dreams.
